ISO meeting in Cary North Carolina

On the 10th and 11th January 2024 David James attended the 7th meeting of ISO TC224WG 10 that was held at The INDA offices in Cary North Carolina.

Discussions centred on drafting a standard relating to identifying appropriate laboratory test methods to evaluate products that may be flushed down a toilet and gave consideration to the appropriate labelling of product packaging with the aim of raising public awareness as to the types of products suitable for toilet disposal.

Delegates from 12 countries attended including: Australia, Israel, United States of America, Canada, India, Spain, United Kingdom, China, Japan, South Korea and France .Liaison representatives from INDA, EDANA and TC224/SC6 also attended.
